Feats for Building of Revolutionary Armed Forces
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- The Korean people, on the occasion of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk's death anniversary, September 22, are looking back upon what she did for the building of revolutionary armed forces.

After the liberation of the country from the Japanese colonial rule, she, upholding President
Kim Il Sung's idea on the founding of an army, visited Pyongyang Institute many times to guide it to fully discharge its mission and duty for training military and political cadres.

She also frequented the Central Security Officers School and underscored the need to equip the cadets with the President's military ideas and war methods and tactics.

When the Korean People's Army (KPA) was founded, she put her heart and soul into making it undertake an appearance suitable for a regular army as early as possible.

She often visited the first tank unit of the KPA to take care of the tankmen's life and encourage them to train themselves properly so as to live up to public expectation.

At a shipyard where Patrol Ship No. 51 was built, she called on its workers to lay down many patrol ships conducive to the strengthening of the navy. She also called at an arsenal several times for the production of quality weaponry with its own effort and technologies.

Instructions she gave as regards the founding of the regular army total more than 420.

The undying feats she performed in the strengthening of the revolutionary forces are shining in the history of Songun Korea.
