The head of the delegation said that the friendly relations between the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Workers' Party of Korea provided by Kaysone Phomvihane and President Kim Il Sung have been further consolidated under the deep care of Choummaly Saynasone and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

He hoped that the Korean people rallied close around Kim Jong Il would achieve bigger success in building a thriving nation while frustrating the imperialists' moves.

Kim Yong Il, director of the International Affairs Department of the C.C, the WPK, also met and had a talk with the delegation which paid a courtesy call on him on the same day.
