The performance began with mixed choruses "Glory to General Kim Jong Il" and "Party Represents Care of the General". Put on the stage were female solos "When We Advance Following Him" and "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party," female chorus "The Way We Wish to Go" and other numbers.

The performers extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the WPK as unanimously desired by all the servicepersons and people and enthusiastically sang of the fortune of Kim Il Sung's Korea which greeted the auspicious event of the country and the nation and their immense emotion and joy.
