Attending it were personages of public organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, including the Peruvian People's Women Union and the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, and popular masses.

The ambassador and an official of the DPRK embassy in Lima were present on invitation.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Ruth Anchorena, general secretary of the Peruvian People's Women Union, said that Kim Jong Suk was a great revolutionary who devoted her all to the freedom and independence of Korea and the genuine life of the Korean women and a paragon of all the women in the world.

Felix Fernandes Torres, secretary general of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, praised Kim Jong Suk as an ardent patriot and true revolutionary who dedicated her all to the revolutionary cause led by President Kim Il Sung. The greatest exploit performed by her was that she provided the bright future of Korea, the speaker added.

He stressed that Korean socialism is invincible thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Il who fully inherited the idea and personality of the President.
