The message said that it is the greatest honor and happiness of not only the people in homeland but Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and a great event of the whole nation to have again Kim Jong Il at the top post of the Workers' Party of Korea, adding that he represents the homeland and his high prestige precisely means the dignity of the country.

Noting that Kim Jong Il has led the revolutionary cause of Juche started by President Kim Il Sung to shining victory, developed the WPK into the party of the President, an invincible revolutionary party of Juche type, turned Korea of Juche into a political and ideological power based on single-minded unity, a military power possessed of tremendous nuclear deterrence and a scientific and technological power which pushed back the frontiers of latest science and technology and ushered in a new era of prosperity in this land unprecedented in the nation's history spanning 5,000 years, the message stressed that his immortal revolutionary exploits would remain brilliantly shining in the history of the country.

You are boundlessly respected and trusted by all the fellow countrymen and the world people as you have ushered in the June 15 era of reunification advancing, guided by the idea of "By our nation itself," and made a great contribution to accomplishing the cause of independence against imperialism, the just cause of defending global peace and stability, the message said, adding that Chongryon would consolidate as firm as a rock the organization which was formed by the President and has been steered by the leader with benevolent care as an overseas patriotic organization making a genuine contribution to carrying forward and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, always holding the President and the leader in high esteem.
