This historic event means the highest praise of the immortal feats Kim Jong Il has performed by building Korean-style socialism based on the Juche idea and wisely leading the struggle of the Korean people to reunify the country, it noted, and went on:

Kim Jong Il has built the DPRK into a political and military power and defended the sovereignty of the country true to the intention of President Kim Il Sung and turned socialist Korea into an invincible bulwark of world socialism by pursuing the Songun politics.

On the same day, Hasanul Huq Inu, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, in a statement extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the WPK.
