When an order was issued to start the drill, various type ground artillery pieces blew up "enemy's positions" by powerful fire strikes in close coordinated operations with sub-units, wiping out the "enemy group" in a moment.

Through the training the servicepersons of the unit powerfully demonstrated the might of the KPA which has grown to be a matchless army under the care of Kim Jong Il, an illustrious commander of Mt. Paektu.

After watching the drill of a-match-for-a hundred soldiers, he highly appreciated their success in the training and extended thanks to them, expressing great satisfaction over the fact that all the units are fully prepared to beat back in time any surprise enemy invasion and defend the socialist homeland as firm as a rock. He set forth important tasks which would serve as guidelines for strengthening and developing the KPA into ever-victorious revolutionary armed forces.

The heroic KPA has grown to be human bomb death-defying corps and vanguard fighters for the Songun revolution who unhesitatingly dedicate their youth and lives to the party and the leader, the country and its people, he said, adding that the socialist country is impregnable and the revolutionary cause of the WPK is sure to triumph as it has iron-willed elite ranks and matchless great army steeled as stalwart fighters in the protracted and arduous struggle.

He together with commanding officers of the KPA had a photo session with the servicepersons of the unit who participated in the drill.
