Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- An art performance "Flower-strewn Stage Celebrating October Holiday" was given by kindergarteners from across the country at the Pyongyang Students and Children's Palace Thursday on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea. Among the audience were Kim Yong Nam, Yang Hyong Sop, Ri Thae Nam, Kim Rak Hui and officials concerned and working people in the city. The performance began with prologue "Fireworks Celebrating October Holiday." Put on the stage were such numbers as boys chorus and drum-beating "He Has Grown to be General of Mt. Paektu" and mixed chorus "Marshal Has Come to Hoeryong". Performers truthfully represented the Korean children happily and stoutly growing, bringing their talents into bloom under the care of the party which was founded by President Kim Il Sung and is led by Kim Jong Il. They reflected their will to grow quickly to become pillars of the country in such numbers as piano, xylophone and percussion instrument solos "We Are Also Juvenile Generals" and callisthenic "I Will Become Football Star". |
