The Speakers said that President Kim Il Sung who laid a solid foundation for the party building long ago founded the Workers' Party of Korea after the country's liberation and wisely led it to creditably play its role as the revolutionary party which struck its roots among the popular masses.

They stressed that Kim Jong Il who has successfully carried forward the idea and cause of the President has strengthened and developed the WPK into an invincible party.

Thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il the WPK will shatter the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK, honorably defend the gains of socialism and certainly achieve the cause of reunification, they added.
