Chinese Party Delegation Put Flowers on Friendship Tower

| Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Zhou Yongkang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission of Politics and Law of the CPC, on an official goodwill visit to the DPRK, laid a wreath before the Friendship Tower on Saturday. Present there were Kim Song Nam, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Song Gi, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, officials concerned and Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Hongcai and his embassy officials. A wreath in the name of the delegation of the CPC was laid before the tower. The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the fallen fighters of the CPV who bravely fought on the Korean front and looked round the tower. Zhou Yongkang made an entry in the visitor's book. |
