Congratulatory Letter from Japanese

| Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a congratulatory letter and a gift from Hiroji Kubota, vice-chairman for Asia of world photographers' group Magnum Photo and concurrently representative of its Tokyo branch, on Oct. 7 on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea. He also received floral baskets from Tokushima Prefectural Citizens' Forum for Japan-Korea Friendship and its advisor Kiyomi Shinohara on Saturday on the occasion of the 65th founding anniversary of the WPK. He was presented with a floral basket on the same day by a Nagano delegation of Japan for supporting Korea's reunification on a visit to the DPRK on the same occasion. |
