Chinese Party Delegation Pays Homage to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Zhou Yongkang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission of Politics and Law of the Communist Party of China, visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Saturday to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung.

It was accompanied by Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

A floral basket in the name of the delegation of the CPC was laid before the statue of the President.

The participants paid homage to the President who strengthened and developed the WPK into a Juche-type revolutionary party and an ever-victorious iron-willed party and made immortal contributions to the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and China and the accomplishment of global independence.

Zhou Yongkang made an entry into the visitor's book.
