Floral Tribute Paid by Overseas Koreans

| Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were placed before the statue of President Kim Il Sung on Mansu Hill Saturday by overseas Koreans who are staying in the homeland to participate in the celebrations marking the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea. Among them are the congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan, the General Association of Koreans in China, the International United Confederation of Koreans, the Federation of Koreans in the U.S., the Federation of Koreans in Australia, the Federation of Koreans in New Zealand, the Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany and the advisor of the Federation of Koreans in Canada and other overseas Koreans. The participants placed floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of the President and paid tribute to him in humble reverence. |
