Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, noted that it was a great political event in the struggle to further strengthen the party and bring earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche that the Korean people had Kim Jong Il at the top post of the WPK again.

He stressed that the reelection of Kim Jong Il as general secretary of the WPK was a manifestation of the steadfast will of the army and people of the DPRK to accomplish the socialist cause of Juche under his leadership.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said that it was the great joy and honor of not only the Korean people but all other world progressives that Kim Jong Il was reelected as general secretary of the WPK.

Flavio Pettinari, chief of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Songun Idea in Fermo of Italy, noted that Kim Jong Il's reelection as general secretary of the WPK brought a promising and rosy future of the WPK, the Korean revolution and the international socialist movement.

Edmond Jouve, chairman of the French Intellectuals' Study Association for Independent Development, stressed that as Kim Jong Il was reelected as general secretary of the WPK, it would always demonstrate its invincible might as a leading force for the Songun cause in the future, too.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting in France.
