The statement said that ever since its founding the WPK has creditably discharged its mission and duty as a mass party of the working people.

It went on:

The WPK has covered only a road of victory without a single mistake as regards its line and turns and twists despite all trials and tempest of history because it has held the distinguished leaders in high esteem and thoroughly applied the Juche idea, the guiding idea in the era of independence, in the revolution and construction, taking a firm hold on it.

The WPK having a mass foundation as firm as a rock, enjoying the absolute support of the Korean people, will advance along the ever-victorious road in the future, too, despite any political upheaval of the world.

The Friendship Society Norway-Korea is firmly convinced that the Korean people will certainly fling open the gate to a thriving nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, under the leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Il.

We will invariably support the just cause of the Korean people.
