The letter said that Kim Jong Il has defended and successfully carried forward the idea of President Kim Il Sung on party building and his feats and thus strengthened the WPK founded by the President into the revolutionary party of Juche type both in name and reality which is winning victory after victory with the might of the single-minded unity.

Korea, which fell miserable victim to the scrambles of big powers for interests while undergoing sorrow as a weak and small country a century ago, towered high in the world as a politico-ideological power, a military power and a scientific and technological power and is now imposingly standing in the world while building a paradise of a thriving nation in which the people would live in splendor, it said, adding that this dream-like reality is a striking demonstration of the greatness of Kim Jong Il and invincibility of the WPK.

The day will surely come when loud hurrahs for reunification will reverberate the three thousand-ri land of the country free from foreign forces as Kim Jong Il ushered in the June 15 era of reunification advancing in the idea of "By our nation itself" and is taking the lead in paving the wide avenue of national reunification with the might of Songun, it said, and went on:

Indeed, the WPK not only has enjoyed unanimous praises by all the people as the mother party for its great ideology, splendid feats and benevolent politics but also has become the beacon of hope to which the world progressives look up entirely because it is holding Kim Jong Il at the highest post.
