The message was courteously conveyed to Kim Jong Il on Saturday by Zhou Yongkang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission of Politics and Law of the Communist Party of China who is leading the visiting delegation of the CPC.

Present there were Wang Jiarui, head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., the CPC, Sun Zhengcai, secretary of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the CPC, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK.

Kim Jong Il expressed deep thanks for sending him a kind congratulatory message and asked Zhou Yongkang to convey his greetings to Hu Jintao and had a friendly talk with him.
