Present there were the chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the delegate President of the France-Korea Friendship Association and the secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea, who are co-chairmen of the international preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, and figures of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, the Finland-Korea Society, the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, the Westfold Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, the Switzerland-Korea Committee, the Ukraine-DPRK Association, the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-DPRK National Friend Association Named After Kim Il Sung, the British Friendship Society with Korea, the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and political parties and organizations in Denmark and other Danes.

Present there on invitation was the delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries which was visiting Denmark.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said in a keynote report made at the seminar that the WPK has led the Korean people for 65 years with its correct strategy, tactics, line and policies, imbuing them with the pride and self-esteem of being a heroic people winning great victories and turning the DPRK into a powerful independent country, remaining unperturbed by any trial and before any formidable enemy.

The DPRK has turned into a powerful socialist country, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, working world-startling miracles under the leadership of the Party, he noted, adding:

President Kim Il Sung gave origin to the cause of building a party of Juche type and led it to victory. This cause has been successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Then followed speeches made by various figures on the themes of "The WPK is the great party of Kim Il Sung, Comrade Kim Jong Il", "The historical roots of the WPK", "Benevolent policy of the WPK", "The WPK, guide of revolution and construction", "Songun leadership of the WPK is an ever-victorious banner", etc.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.

The letter noted that the seminar offered a meaningful occasion to know better about the glorious history of the WPK, shining feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the master key and source that enabled the WPK to win only victories generation after generation.

The 65 year-long history of the WPK is a glorious history of the great guide in which it rallied the popular masses as one to courageously weather trials and difficulties and build a dignified and powerful socialist state under the wise leadership of the outstanding leaders, it stressed, adding:

All the achievements and experience gained by the WPK are entirely thanks to the outstanding and test leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and serve as a precious example to be followed by all the parties struggling for the people's independence.

It reiterated the participants' will to extend full support and firm solidarity to the WPK and the Korean people in their just cause in the future, too, as in the past.
