The statement noted that President Kim Il Sung founded the WPK and thereby the Korean people could have a new-type revolutionary party and achieve great successes in the efforts to create an independent new life under the leadership of the Party.

Under the wise guidance of the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il the Korean people have waged dynamic struggle to build powerful and prosperous socialism, deeply conscious of being masters of the revolution, it said.

The statement stressed that Kim Jong Il's Songun politics is based on the Juche idea of the President and serves as the most just political mode which makes it possible to foil the imperialists' aggression and military intervention and realize the popular masses' independence.

Extending invariable support and solidarity to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the WPK, the Finnish Communists' League expresses firm belief that the Korean people will win only victory in the efforts to build a thriving nation under the leadership of the WPK, it concluded.
