On display in their venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and books and photos introducing the 65-year-long history of the WPK crowned with victory and glory.

Appreciated at the shows were Korean films "The Korean People's Army, Steel-like Ranks" and "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said at a meeting that Kim Jong Il's reelection as general secretary of the WPK is a great auspicious event of world historic significance as it instills great confidence and courage into the revolutionary parties and the progressives struggling for the victory of the cause of independence against imperialism and for the building of a new society.

Only victory and glory are always in store for the WPK having Kim Jong Il at its top post, he said.

The national executive secretary for foreign affairs of the People's Party for the Reconstruction and the Democracy of Democratic Congo said at a meeting that the WPK has strengthened into an invincible party under the distinguished leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and his Songun politics, thereby creditably discharging its role as the organizer and guide of all victories for the Korean people and greatly encouraging the world progressive parties and people desirous of independence and progress.
