The WPK has been strengthened and developed into the most experienced and revolutionary party and an invincible party commanding absolute support and trust from the people over the last 65 years since it was founded by President Kim Il Sung, the statement said, and went on:

The WPK has created a new shining history of carrying out the popular masses' cause of independence, the cause of socialism under the tested leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and thus performed immortal exploits in this course.

The history of the WPK precisely means a great history of revolutionary struggle of the President and that of revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il.

It is the glorious party as it paved a new way of building a revolutionary party in the era of independence and set a shining example in it.

The WPK is now successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche generation after generation under the guidance of Kim Jong Il.
