After graduating from a secondary school, Kim Ju Hyok joined the Korean People's Army and set an example in the military-political training.

He laid down his life while bravely fighting a battle with enemy's warships that intruded into the waters of the DPRK side in November last year.

A meeting was held on Oct. 15 to name the school Kim Ju Hyok Secondary School.

It was attended by officials concerned, his bereaved family, service persons of the KPA, teachers, students and their parents.

At the end of the meeting the participants looked round the hero's bust.
