Whenever greeting the anniversary, they recollect the feats of the first generation of the revolution that started the history of unity in Huadian under the banner of the DIU.

At that time Kim Hyok, Cha Kwang Su, Choe Chang Gol and other young communists of the new generation respected President Kim Il Sung as the sun of the nation, united in mind around him, and defended the leader of the revolution at the cost of their lives.

The unity achieved by them was a guarantee of the victorious anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and a solid basis of the WPK's single-minded unity.

Carrying forward the spirit of the unity, the second generation of the revolution defeated the U.S. imperialists in the Fatherland Liberation War with concerted efforts and wrought miracles in the postwar rehabilitation and reconstruction and in socialist construction under the leadership of the President.

Ideas and feats of leaders were obliterated and parties dismembered in some countries in the latter half of the 1980s, but the revolutionary cause of Juche could be advanced successfully in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea thanks to the unity.

The tradition of the unity, provided and defended by the old generations of the revolution, has been steadfastly carried forward by the third and fourth generations.

In the period of "Arduous March", the forced march when the country and the revolution were undergoing harsh ordeals, they displayed unparalleled heroism and devotion in defending the socialist society and making a breakthrough in the building of a thriving nation, rallied around leader Kim Jong Il as his comrades in the Songun revolution.

Basing itself on the tradition of the single-minded unity, which has continued through generations, the Korean revolution will always emerge victorious.
