Meanwhile, a recently procured confidential document of the German Foreign Ministry disclosed that in February 1969 the Japan Foreign Ministry asked for West Germany's cooperation in producing materials for nukes, contending that Japan's technology is enough to do so, during the top-secret negotiations with this country which were participated in by six persons of the ministry including the head of its international data department.

Commenting on the facts, a news analyst of Rodong Sinmun Saturday says they are historical evidence clearly showing that the Japanese reactionaries have long pursued nuclear armament while seeking to realize their wild design for reinvasion.

The Japanese authorities, who have so far asserted their "honesty" in the nuclear issue, are getting very nervous when the scientific evidence was brought to light, the analyst notes, and goes on to say:

The recently disclosed top-secret document on the nuclear issue lays bare the true colors of the wicked Japanese reactionaries who are playing a double game with their nuclear design aimed at military overseas expansion.

Japan has styled itself as a "pacific state" and a "non-nuclear state", wearing the veil of the "three non-nuclear principles".

As a war criminal state, Japan was prohibited by law after the war from possessing any combat forces and using armed forces against other countries. But the Japanese militarists have persistently pushed for access to nuclear weapons out of revenge and awful regret that the defeat of the Japanese imperialists in the past was due to their failure to possess nukes. The "three non-nuclear principles" advocated by Japan are nothing but a camouflage to cover up its sinister nuclear design.

The Japanese reactionaries apparently seek to realize their old dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" with having access to nukes, but such scheme will lead it to self-destruction.
