Realization of Proposal for Founding DFRK Called for

| Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The European Regional Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany released a joint appeal on Oct. 7 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo. The appeal noted that this year is a significant one marking the 30th anniversary of the proposal. Saying that the present grave situation is highlighting the urgency of realizing the proposal, it held that this proposal is a bright one for reunification guaranteeing the life and safety of the nation. All the Koreans in the north and the south and overseas supporting the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration should turn out in the patriotic drive for materializing the proposal, the appeal stressed. |
