The statement said that the DFRK founding proposal is the most reasonable and just reunification proposal as it makes it possible to reunify Korea in an independent and peaceful way under the condition that differing ideas and systems exist in the north and the south of Korea.

It noted that the world progressives have expressed full support and solidarity with this proposal advanced by President Kim Il Sung.

The African Regional Committee of Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People will as ever fully support the proposal, the statement said, hoping that Korea's reunification would be realized in a peaceful way at an early date.
