These exercises were participated in by warships and sea-patrol planes of the puppet navy, commandos of the puppet maritime police to inspect ships and troops of the U.S. forces and their allies.

These large-scale exercises were a deliberate armed provocation intended to push the inter-Korean relations to the brink of war quite contrary to the desire of the nation and treacherous moves to ignite a war in a bid to vitiate the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue and aggravate the situation.

What should not be overlooked is that the south Korean authorities spearheaded the exercises in waters off Pusan for the first time in history.

Pusan hosts aircraft carriers, strategic nuclear submarines and warships of the U.S. which frequent south Korea and serves as a base for supplying war materiel.

South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises targeted against the DPRK, annual events, were kicked off in Pusan and waters off it.

It is needless to say that PSI exercises staged in waters off Pusan recently were part of the exercises for a war of aggression against the DPRK.

What merits a serious attention is that the south Korean bellicose forces let even the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" participate in them.

The above-said saber-rattling staged by the south Korean warmongers in collusion with Japan, the sworn enemy of the Korean people, goes to prove that they leave no means untried to do harm to compatriots.

As the reality shows, the inter-Korean relations are not improved despite the positive measures and sincere efforts on the part of the DPRK side entirely because of the south Korean authorities' wrong stand and attitude. They are only seeking to do harm to compatriots, regarding them as their "principal enemy".

However, the warmongers' moves to escalate the confrontation with compatriots would only touch off the nation's curse and denunciation of them and precipitate their doom.
