Present there were the chairman of the African Taekwon-Do Federation, the chairman of the South African Taekwon-Do Association and other personages and Taekwon-Do players and fans. Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to South Africa and staff members of the DPRK embassy there.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

The chairman of the African Taekwon-Do Federation said that he was pleased to inaugurate the training hall of Taekwon-Do in Pretoria, south Africa on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the WPK.

The chairman sincerely hoped that the Korean people would achieve greater successes in building a thriving nation under the leadership of the great party, adding that he would widely disseminate Taekwon-Do in South Africa and thus make a positive contribution to developing the friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.
