Rodong Sinmun Sunday says this in a signed commentary.

The large-scale war exercises targeted against the DPRK being staged by the warmongers in the air in the wake of their maneuvers in the sea under the pretext of the fabricated "Cheonan" warship case are criminal actions to bring the inter-Korean relations to an uncontrollable catastrophe and lead the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war, the commentary notes, and goes on:

What matters is that the warmongers at home and abroad staged the saber-rattling at a time when the DPRK proposed the south side to hold working talks between authorities to resume the tour of Mt. Kumgang and is making every sincere effort to successfully ensure the reunion of separated families and relatives and the north-south Red Cross talks.

They kicked off the above-said joint air battle exercises in collusion with the U.S. on October 15, the date of the proposed talks. This was a deliberate and premeditated provocation to the dialogue partner. It clearly indicates what the south Korean authorities sought when they delayed them, talking about "the stand taken later" and "consideration."

What should not be overlooked is that the puppet warmongers, while becoming vociferous about "principal enemy," spearheaded the joint air battle exercises and brought to south Korea from Alaska the 18th battalion of the 354 flying corps of the U.S. Air Force for a mobile reaction drill. This proves that the war exercises were staged under the simulated conditions of an actual war against the DPRK.

The saber-rattling clearly indicates that the south Korean ruling quarters have no intention to improve the inter-Korean relations but only seek to realize their the criminal scenario to stifle the DPRK together with outside forces.

The DPRK stands for the improved inter-Korean relations and peace on the Korean Peninsula but will never pardon those who are keen to hurt it.

The south Korean ruling quarters had better drop their foolish ambition and stop their rash actions.
