Homage Paid to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- The Chinese high-ranking military delegation led by Col. General Guo Boxiong, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, Sunday visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace and paid homage to President Kim Il Sung. He was accompanied by Vice Marshal of the Korean People's Army Ri Yong Ho, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and Sun Yanfeng, military, naval and air attache of the Chinese embassy here. The delegation laid a floral basket before the statue of President Kim Il Sung in the name of the Chinese high-ranking military delegation. The guests paid homage to the President who dedicated his whole life to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of its people and made an immortal contribution to the strengthening of the DPRK-China friendship and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence. Guo Boxiong wrote in the visitor's book that he always misses Kim Il Sung. |
