Present there from the DPRK side were Ri Jong Hyok, chairman of the DPRK-British Friendship Parliamentary Group who is a deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly, and officials concerned and from the British side members of the delegation of the British-DPRK All-Party Parliamentary Group led by David Alton, member of the House of Lords and chairman of the group.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the friendly relations between the two parliaments and a series of matters of mutual concern.
