Vietnamese President Supports Korean People's Just Cause

| Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- The Vietnamese people are firmly convinced that the fraternal Korean people would surely win victory in building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation and achieving the country's peaceful reunification under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea. Nguyen Minh Triet, president of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, said this when meeting with Ma Chol Su, DPRK ambassador to Viet Nam who paid a farewell call on him on October 20. He said that the Vietnamese party, government and people would set store by the traditional friendship with the party, government and people of the DPRK and continue to make efforts to further strengthen and develop it. The friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries are comradely and fraternal ones that were personally provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and ones that stood the test of history, he noted. The Vietnamese people would always support the just cause of the Korean people, he stressed. |
