The speakers said at the press conference that the security authorities recently requested a warrant of arrest for Mun Kyong Hwan, chairman of the Executive Committee of the solidarity, following the forcible search of the houses of former and incumbent members of the solidarity on charges of the violation of the "National Security Law".

It is unpardonable and unreasonable oppression that the security authorities forcibly searched the houses and requested a warrant of arrest against the backdrop of the wholesale repressive campaign they have kicked up after labeling the solidarity an enemy-benefiting organization, they condemned, and went on:

The solidarity deserves appraisal for its activities for implementing the June 15 joint declaration but instead it has been cracked down on charges of conducting enemy-benefiting acts.

They urged the security authorities to halt at once the indiscriminative suppression of the solidarity.
