DPRK Football Team Beats Its Iranian Rival 2-0

| Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The DPRK boys football team beat its Iranian rival 2-0 at the 2010 Asian U-16 Soccer Championship now under way in Uzbekistan from Oct. 24. The championship brought together teams of 16 countries. The DPRK team belonging to Group B drew 1-1 in the first league match with its Syrian rival held on Oct. 24. It trounced its Iranian rival 2-0 in its second match on Oct. 26, leading other teams in the group together with the Syrian team. It will play its last league match with its Oman rival on Oct. 28. |
