Displayed in the venue of the seminar were works of Kim Jong Il and books and photos introducing the WPK's ever-victorious history.

M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, in his keynote report titled "The Songun revolutionary guidance of great leader Kim Jong Il" made at the seminar referred to the fact that President Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea, the Songun idea in his early years and defeated two imperialisms, the U.S. and Japan, protecting the dignity and sovereignty of the country and the nation, and Kim Jong Il acquired the personality as a brilliant commander in the crucible of the great anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War.

He recalled that thanks to the peerlessly brilliant commanders the Korean revolutionary armed forces grew to be invincible ones firmly prepared politically and ideologically and in military technique and the DPRK is demonstrating its might as a military power having a powerful war deterrent.

Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership provides a guarantee for the victory of socialist Korea, he noted, adding that the Korean people would smash the imperialists' moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK and surely open the gate to a thriving socialist nation under his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The floor was taken by various figures.

The speakers said that the desire for reunification is now growing stronger on the Korean Peninsula, adding that this reality proves the validity and vitality of the WPK's policy for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

They pointed out that witnessing the fierce stand-off between the DPRK and the U.S. on the peninsula, they came to grasp the might of the Songun politics. They praised it as the greatest one leading the Korean people to victory and glory.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
