Players at the festival set new world record in the women's team event of shooting in trench and new DPRK records in the different events of shooting, archery, athletic and weight lifting.

Men and women players of the Mangyongbong Sports Team placed first at football games, men players of the Kigwancha Sports Team and women players of the Amnokgang Sports Team at basketball games and men and women players of the April 25 Sports Teams at volleyball games.

Present at the ceremony were Ri Yong Su, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and sportspersons.
