Traitor Lee Myung Bak's Anti-reunification Jargon Slammed
|
|
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive recently let the prime minister make a "policy speech" at the National Assembly. In the speech Lee Myung Bak again pulled up the DPRK, asserting that "the first step to be taken to improve the inter-Korean relations and achieve peaceful reunification is to build a peace community through the denuclearization of the north" and the like. Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: This is nothing but an anti-reunification jargon which can be let loose only by those who desperately pursue confrontation challenging the sincere efforts of the DPRK to pave the way for improving the inter-Korean relations through dialogue and cooperation and going against the trend of the times. The above-said "policy speech" once again revealed the true colors of his group as traitors persistently pursuing the confrontation between the north and the south while going against the need of the era and the desire of the fellow countrymen. The "denuclearization" touted by the south Korean ruling forces is by no means aimed to repair the inter-Korean relations and preserve peace. This is proved by "no nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars", the "policy toward the north" which they have followed since their coming to power, and the present grave reality of the inter-Korean relations, its product. It is impossible to improve the inter-Korean relations nor is it possible to defuse the danger of a war to the Korean Peninsula as long as the south Korean authorities persist in their nuclear campaign against the DPRK to hurt fellow countrymen in collusion with foreign forces. No matter how noisily the south Korean authorities may trumpet about "denuclearization," while frantically kicking up the disturbing nuclear racket against the DPRK in collusion with foreign forces, no one would lend an ear to their rhetoric. If the south Korean chief executive truly wants the improved inter-Korean relations and peaceful reunification, he should make a prompt switchover in his anachronistic anti-reunification confrontation policy and opt for giving momentum to the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation between the north and the south. This is the first step to be taken by the south Korean authorities to mend the inter-Korean relations. |
