In the quarterfinals with its Jordanian rival on Nov. 1 the DPRK team mounted a fierce attack through a combination of surprise counter-attack and bold medium- and long-distance kick, while fully displaying its tactics and providing firm defence.

After scoring the first goal in the 32nd minute of the first half the DPRK team went on with its fierce attack in the second half, scoring goals in the 65th, 72nd and 78th minutes of the match in succession. The DPRK team trounced its Jordanian rival 4:0, advancing to semifinals and winning a berth to the 2011 U-17 World Cup.
