Story of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- One day in early summer of Juche 23 (1934), the main unit of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) led by President Kim Il Sung reached Sandaohezi village on the way to Luozigou. The Japanese imperialists mobilized huge forces to arrest the unit's advance to Luozigou. Afraid of possible damage to villagers, the President ordered the unit to lure the enemy into a plain out of the village and fight them. The unit, though in an untoward situation, triumphed over the enemy under the superb command of the President. Looking back upon the battle, the President said in his reminiscences: We experienced similar cases more than once. Ever since the first founding days of the guerrilla army, we regarded loving and helping the people as the most important duty and precept of the men of the KPRA. |
