Story of Kim Jong Suk

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- One spring day in Juche 35 (1946) anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk made a visit to the home of a woman whose husband was devoting himself to the struggle for national reunification. Picking lettuces in the vegetable garden together with the woman, Kim Jong Suk told her that Korea had not yet been reunified as the U.S. imperialists were lording it over south Korea instead of the defeated Japanese imperialists. She also said that she was much worried about the south Korean people undergoing all sorts of harships under the control of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces though Korea was liberated from the Japanese colonial rule and that the entire Korean people should unite closely around President Kim Il Sung in the struggle to drive the U.S. imperialists out of south Korea and reunify the country at an early date. Reflected in the remark was her deep concern about the south Korean people's sufferings from the division of the nation by outside forces. |
