DPRK Wins Vietnam Football Association Cup

| Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK footballers placed the first at the 2010 International Soccer Tournament for Vietnam Football Association Cup which was held in Vietnam from November 2 to 6. The DPRK team (U-21), the Vietnam state football selection, the Singaporean state football selection and the south Korean olympic football selection (U-21) competed at league matches. The DPRK team beat its Singaporean rival 2:1 at the first match held on November 2, drew match 1:1 with south Korean rival on November 4 and defeated the Vietnamese rival 2:0 on November 6. The DPRK team gathered 7 points in total. |
