Kim in the message noted that after the independence the Cambodian people have made ceaseless efforts for the sovereignty of the country and the prosperity of the nation and in this course they could bring about the socio-political stability and the rapid economic development.

Expressing belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries which were provided by President Kim Il Sung together with Great King Norodom Sihanouk will continue to develop further, the message sincerely wished the king greater successes in his noble work.
