The "report" released by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities is devoid of any scientific and logical evidence but full of falsity and deception, the statement said, adding that they have staged joint military exercises targeted against the DPRK one after another in the waters off the Korean Peninsula and frantically kicked up the racket for applying sanctions against the DPRK in the international arena. This reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!"

All the facts go to prove that the U.S. is working hard to invent a pretext to attack the DPRK by force at any cost to realize its ambition to dominate Asia and the rest of the world and that the south Korean authorities are more actively toeing the U.S. line to do harm to the fellow countrymen, the statement noted, and went on:

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities are leaving no means untried to check the advance of socialist Korea but the just cause of the Korean people to build an economic power and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country is sure to emerge victorious.

The Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy and the Italian Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea resolutely denounce the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities against the DPRK and extend full support and solidarity to the just measures taken by the DPRK government for peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

The statement called upon the progressive political parties and organizations of Italy to accuse the U.S. and the south Korean authorities of having fabricated the "Cheonan" case and extend support and encouragement to the struggle of the Korean people to defend the sovereignty of the nation and achieve peace and reunification of the peninsula.
