The statement noted that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities have escalated the anti-DPRK war exercises with the case of the sinking of the warship "Cheonan" as an occasion, increasing to the extremes the danger of war. And they are working hard to link the case with the DPRK at any cost while seeking to mislead the world public opinion, it added.

The "Cheonan" case is an extra-large conspiratorial farce and charade deliberately orchestrated by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities to attain their heinous political and military aims, the statement pointed out.

It strongly urged the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities to stop at once the anti-DPRK campaign and extended support and solidarity to the Korean people's struggle of justice for peace and security of the Korean Peninsula.
