Kim Yong Il Meets Vietnamese Delegation

| Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a friendly talk on Thursday with the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration headed by its President Le Huu Nghia, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The head of the delegation asked Kim Yong Il to extend to Kim Jong Il the greetings of Nong Duc Manh, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He expressed belief that the traditional friendly relations between the two countries provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung would grow stronger. He wished the Korean people greater success in the building of a thriving socialist nation. |
