The first installment of a statement released by the inspection group of the NDC of the DPRK disclosing the truth behind the "Cheonan" case clarified before the whole world that the DPRK had nothing to do with it and it was a conspiratorial farce and charade orchestrated by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities, the statement said, and went on:

By far-fetchedly linking the "Cheonan" case with the DPRK at any cost the U.S. and the south Korean authorities sought to justify their pressure and sanctions against the DPRK.

All the members of the said group and the branch fully support the first installment of the statement released by the inspection group of the NDC of the DPRK.
