Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, released a statement on Nov. 10 in support of the first installment of a statement released by the inspection group of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. He in his statement accused the U.S. and the south Korean authorities of getting evermore frantic with their racket to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK as evidenced by the war maneuvers staged by them one after another, far-fetchedly linking the "Cheonan" warship case which occurred in the West Sea of Korea with the DPRK. The statement went on: The DPRK advanced a proposal for dispatching an inspection group of the NDC for a field survey and other most reasonable and fair and aboveboard proposals for clearing suspicions and distrust of the domestic and international public in the "Cheonan" case and defusing the tension prevailing on the Korean Peninsula. The U.S. and the south Korean authorities, however, unilaterally announced what they called the "results of investigation" and the "finial report" released by the "civilian-army joint investigation team" in a bid to deter the above-said inspection group from conducting a field survey. The world progressives who love peace are dismissing the above-said case as a conspiratorial farce and charade orchestrated by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities. They should immediately stop their racket for confrontation with the DPRK being kicked up under the pretext of the warship case. We support the first installment of a statement released by the NDC of the DPRK and its efforts for laying bare the nature of the fabrication and charade. |
