New Book on Revolutionary History of Kim Il Sung Published

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- "Collection of Materials on the Revolutionary History of Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung" Vol. 12 was brought out. It was compiled by the Party History Institute of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea. The book deals with materials on the revolutionary activities conducted by President Kim Il Sung from November Juche 27 (1938) to October Juche 28 (1939). The book in its part 1 deals with what the President said when looking back on the period when he put forward strategic and tactical policies for ushering in a fresh surge in the Korean revolution by overcoming the prevailed difficulties and led the Arduous March of the main force of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, the operation for advancing into the Musan area and the military and political activities in the northeastern area of Mt. Paektu. Its part 2 carries reminiscences of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters telling about the greatness of the President which they experienced in their struggle. This part of the book tells about facts that the President conducted the operation for advancing into the Musan area to make the enemy forces shudder after leading the Arduous March to shining victory and built new revolutionary bases in the northeastern area of Mt. Paektu and the northern part of Korea along Tuman River, bringing about a steady surge in the overall Korean revolution. It also deals with data on the superb commanding art of the President and his personality as a great man and the spirit of devotedly defending the leader displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, etc. The book in its part 3 deals with domestic and foreign publications on the battles commanded by the President, the activities conducted by the KPRA and confidential documents of the army, police, secret agencies of the Japanese imperialists and the puppet Manchukuo. The appendix of the book carries the enemy's documents on the Japanese imperialists' moves to escalate war, etc. and publications on the Korean people's struggle against Japan and war in those days. |
