DPRK players came third in table tennis team (men and women) and the women's 10m running target events.

Hong Kuk Hyon bagged bronze medals in the men's 66kg judo, Kim Su Gyong and An Kum Ae in the women's 63kg and 52kg judo, Jong Chun Mi in the women's 58kg weightlifting, Ri Hyang Sim and Jo Yong Suk in the women's individual 10m running target event and the 10m air pistol contest.
