The statement recalled that the illegalities and corruption of the chief executive's family have recently been brought to light to trigger off public criticism.

It accused Chongwadae and the "Grand National Party" of scheming to cover up the truth about the said case, talking about "libel" and the like.

The present "government" should conduct the earliest possible investigation into the recent case and own due responsibility for the unceasing irregularities and corruption, urged the statement.
